DAY 1  : DEPART KUL

Borneo Pilgrims – Depart KKIA to KLIA and meet main group at Airlines check in counter.

KL Pilgrims - Assemble 3 hours before at Airlines check in counter

 

DAY 2  : KUL-MILAN (X/X/D)

Flight depart via Dubai Arrive Milan and after immigration and customs clearance proceed Drive past & visit Castello Sforzesco, Duomo Cathedral, Dinner and overnight in Milan. for city tour. La Scala Theater and Da Vinci Statue.

 

DAY 3 : MILAN - PADOVA - VENICE (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel and check out.

Transfer to Padova. Visit Basilica of St Antonio.

Mass.

Lunch at local restaurant.

Depart for Venice Mestre.

Take the boat transfer from Tronchetto Pier to San Marco Pier on Venice Island.

Photostop at Doge’s Palace, San Marco Square, San Marco Cathedral, Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs.

Boat transfer from San Marco Pier to pier in Venice Tronchetto.

Dinner, check in & overnight in Venice.

 

DAY 4 : VENICE - FLORENCE - PISA (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel and check out.

Drive to Florence.

Walking tour and photo stop at Duomo Complex.

After lunch, transfer to Pisa.

Dinner, check in and overnight in Pisa.

 

DAY 5 : PISA - ASSISI (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel and check out.

Photo stop at: Leaning tower of Pisa

After lunch, continue drive to Assisi.

Dinner, check in & overnight in Assisi.

DAY 6 : ASSISI (B/L/D)

Breakfast at Hotel.

Visit Papal Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi and Santa Chiara Church.

Mass at Church

After lunch, visit St Mary of Angels.

Dinner & overnight.

 

DAY 7: ASSISI - LORETO – MANOPELLO - LANCIANO – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel and check out.

Transfer to Loreto (148km).

Visit Holy House of Loreto.

After lunch, drive to Manopello. (170km)

Proceed to visit Basilica del Volto Santo – Face of Jesus. Transfer from Manoppello to Lanciano (Chieti)

Visit the Eucharistic Miracle.

Continue drive to San Giovanni Rotondo (156km).

Dinner, check in & overnight stay in San Giovanni

 

DAY 8: SAN GIOVANNI (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel.

Visit the Shrine of Padre Pio, Mass at Church.

We tour the sanctuary, see the old church and the crucifix from which he received the stigmata in 1918. You will see the confessional where Padre Poi spent innumerable hours with a multitude of pilgrims, directing them on their journey toward God.

Lunch at local restaurant

Visit Monte Sant’ Angelo

Dinner & overnight in San Giovanni.

 

DAY 9 : SAN GIOVANNI - ROME (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the Hotel and check out.

Check out and transfer from San Giovanni Rotondo to Rome (381km – 5hrs 30min)

Arrive Rome, Lunch at local restaurant.

Proceed to visit St Paul’s Basilica Outside the Wall, and Chiesa Al Martirio di S. Paolo,

Mass at Church.

Dinner, check in and overnight in Rome.

 

DAY 10 : ROME (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.

Visit St Peter Basilica. Lunch at local restaurant.

Visit to St. John Lateran Church, Scala Santa, Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.

Dinner & overnight in Rome.

 

DAY 11: ROME (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed for Papal Audience - giving pilgrims and visitors the chance to "see the Pope" and receive the Papal Blessing or Apostolic Blessing from the successor of The Apostle Peter during their visit. **Papal audience is subject to Pope Francis’s schedule and availability**

After lunch, visit St Mary Majors Basilica and St Alphonsus de Liquori Church.

Visit Trevi Fountain, drive past Colloseum

Dinner and overnight in Rome.

 

DAY 12 : ROME - KUALA LUMPUR (B)

Breakfast in the hotel

Transfer to airport for flight departure back to Malaysia.

 

DAY 13 : KUALA LUMPUR

Arrive Kuala Lumpur with fond memory of Italy Pilgrimage.
