Itinerary:

DAY 1: ASSEMBLE BORNEO / KLIA

• Borneo participants, assemble at airport for flight to KLIA.
• Meet and assemble at KLIA 4 hours before departure for check in.
• Flight departs for Rome via Dubai.

DAY 2: ROME            (D)

• Upon arrival in Rome, collect baggage and clear immigration and customs. Proceed to visit St John Lateran Basilica, Scala Santa and St Croce in Gerusalemme Basilica.
• MASS.
• Continue to visit St Mary Major Basilica and Tomb of Pope Francis.
• Dinner then proceed to hotel for check in.
• Overnight in Rome.

DAY 3: ROME             (B/L/D)

• Breakfast in hotel.
• Proceed for General Papal Audience - giving pilgrims the chance to see the Pope and receive his blessings.
• Papal Audience is subject to His Holiness's schedule and availability and is subject to change without prior notice.
• Lunch then if time permits, view the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.
• Continue to visit St Paul Outside the Walls Basilica and Chiesa Al Martirio di S.Paolo.
• MASS.
• Dinner then transfer back to hotel and overnight.

DAY 4: ROME - MANOPPELLO - SAN GIOVANNI            (B/X/D)

• Breakfast in hotel, check out and proceed to Manoppello (approx. 188km - 2h 45m).
• Visit Basilica del Volto Santo - Face of Jesus. MASS.
• OWN LUNCH along the way then continue to San Giovanni (approx. 208km - 3h).
• Upon arrival, proceed to visit the Shrine of Padre Pio.
• Continue to hotel for check in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: SAN GIOVANNI - LANCIANO - LORETO - ASSISI              (B/X/D)

• Breakfast in hotel, check out and proceed to Lanciano (approx. 156km - 2h 15m).
• Visit The Eucharistic Miracle - St Legonziano Church.
• MASS.
• Continue to Loreto (approx. 180km - 2h 45m).
• OWN LUNCH along the way, then upon arrival, visit the Holy House of Loreto.
• Proceed to Assisi (approx. 148km - 2h 15m).
• Upon arrival, proceed to hotel for check in.
• Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

DAY 6: ASSISI           (B/L/D)

• Breakfast in hotel.
• Visit the Basilica of St Francis and St Chiara Church.
• MASS.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Continue to visit St Maria Maggiore where the body of Blessed Carlo Acutis is.
• Then proceed to Basilica of St Mary of Angels.
• Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

DAY 7: ASSISI - FLORENCE - PISA             (B/X/D)

• Breakfast in hotel then check out.
• Proceed to Florence (approx. 176km - 2h 45m).
• Visit the Duomo St Maria del Fiore. MASS.
• OWN LUNCH then proceed to Pisa (approx. 86km - 1h 30m).
• Upon arrival, proceed to view the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Square of Miracles, the Baptistery and Duomo.
• Proceed to hotel and check in. Dinner and overnight in Pisa.

DAY 8: PISA - PADOVA - VENICE               (B/X/D)

• Breakfast in hotel then check out.
• Proceed to Padova (approx. 296km - 4h 15m).
• OWN LUNCH along the way. Visit St Antonia Basilica.
• MASS. Continue to Venice (approx. 41km - 45m).
• Upon arrival, proceed to St Mark's Square and view Doge's Palace, San Marco Cathedral, Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs.
• Proceed to hotel for check in. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

DAY 9: VENICE - KLIA               (B)

• Breakfast at hotel then check out.
• FAREWELL MASS.
• Transfer to airport for flight to Kuala Lumpur via Dubai.

DAY 10: KLIA / BORNEO

• Arrive KLIA with fond memories of your Franciscan Shrine Pilgrimage.
• For Borneo participants, onward flight to your final destination.
