ITINERARY

DAY 1 / 13 SEP (Sun): ASSEMBLE CHANGI AIRPORT

  • Meet and assemble at ChangiInternational Airport 4 hours before departure for check in.
  • Flight departs for Venice via Dubai.

DAY 2 / 14 SEP (Mon): VENICE - PADOVA          (D)

  • Upon arrival in Venice, clear immigration and customs.
  • Transfer to Padova.
  • Visit The Basilica of St. Anthony.- One of the main attractions of Padua.It reflects a strong Byzantine influence and is dedicated to St. Anthony; whose tomb is inside the church. Preserving its relics in the basilica, the church soon became a pilgrimage destination for pilgrims.

 DAY 3 / 15 SEP (Tue): PADOVA - FLORENCE          (B/X/D)

  • Breakfast in hotel and check out.
  • Proceed to Florence.

  • Transfer to Siena and visit The Head of St Catherine of Sienna. - The mummified head of St. Catherine of Siena is a major relic housed in a dedicated chapel within the Basilica of San Domenico (Basilica Cateriniana) in Siena, Italy.  DAY 5 / 17 SEP (Thu): ASSISI - CHIUST DELLA BERNA - ASSISI          (B/L/D)

  • Visit Sanctuary of La Verna. - La Verna (Chiusi della Verna) is a famous Franciscan sanctuary located in Tuscany, Italy. It is best known as the place where St. Francis of Assisi is said to have received the stigmata in 1224. Surrounded by forests and mountains, the sanctuary is an important pilgrimage site and a place of quiet reflection and spiritual significance.

 DAY 6 / 18 SEP (Fri): ASSISI          (B/X/D)

  • Breakfast in hotel.
  • Visit the Basilica of St Francis - a major Franciscan pilgrimage site built in the 13th century to honor St. Francis of Assisi. The complex includes the Upper and Lower Basilicas, famous for their stunning frescoes by artists like Giotto, depicting the life of St. Francis. It also houses his tomb, making it a central place of worship, reflection, and Franciscan heritage.

  • Proceed to visit St Chiara Church (UNESCO listed). - The Basilica of Saint Clare (Santa Chiara) is a historic church in Assisi, Italy, dedicated to St. Clare of Assisi, a follower of St. Francis. Built in the 13th century, it features a simple Gothic style with pink and white stone. The church houses the tomb of St. Clare and is an important pilgrimage site connected to the early Franciscan movement.
  • Visit St Maria Maggiore - The tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis is located inside the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore (also known as the Sanctuary of the Spoliation or Santuario della Spogliazione) in Assisi, Italy. His body is displayed in a glass tomb in the right aisle, dressed in jeans, a sweatshirt, and sneakers.

  • Visit St. Damiano Monastery - The Monastery of San Damiano in Assisi, Italy, is a small historic monastery closely linked to St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi. It is the place where St. Francis is said to have heard Christ speak to him from the crucifix, calling him to rebuild the Church. Later, it became the home of St. Clare and the Poor Clares, making it an important spiritual and pilgrimage site.Proceed to visit Eremo delle Carceri -The Eremo delle Carceri is a peaceful hermitage located on Mount Subasio near Assisi, Italy. It is a place where St. Francis of Assisi and his followers would retreat for prayer and solitude. Surrounded by forest, the hermitage reflects Franciscan ideals of simplicity, silence, and closeness to nature.

 DAY 7 / 19 SEP (Sat): ASSISI - GUBBIO - BAGNOREGIO - TERNI?          (B/L/D)

  • Breakfast in hotel and check out.
  • Proceed to Gubbio.
  • Visit Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo, Gubbio. - The Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo is a hilltop church located above Gubbio, Italy, dedicated to the city’s patron saint, St. Ubaldo Baldassini. Built in the 11th–12th centuries, it is best known for preserving St. Ubaldo’s incorrupt body. The basilica is an important pilgrimage site and is closely linked to Gubbio’s famous Ceri Festival.

DAY 8 / 20 SEP (Sun): TERNI - GRECCIO - RIETI - TERNI          (B/X/D)

It is a significant, quiet pilgrimage site featuring a cave, a chapel with 14th-century frescoes, and a "well of wine" legend.
  • Continue to Greccio and visit Shrine of Greccio. - The Shrine of Greccio (Santuario di Greccio), known as the "Franciscan Bethlehem," is a 13th-century monastery in Italy's Rieti Valley where Saint Francis of Assisi created the first live nativity scene in 1223. Perched on a rocky cliff, the site features the original chapel, a 13th-century church, and a Nativity museum.

DAY 9 / 21 SEP (Mon): TERNI - LANCIANO - SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO?          (B/L/D)

  • Proceed to Lanciano and visit the Eucharistic Miracle (St. Legonziano Church) - The 8th-century Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano occurred in the Church of St. Legonziano (now San Francesco) in Italy, when a doubting monk witnessed bread and wine turn into human flesh and blood. Scientific analyses (1970–1971) confirmed the relics are heart tissue (myocardium) and type AB blood, lacking preservatives.

DAY 10 / 22 SEP (Tue): SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO - ROME          (B/L/D)

  • Pontificio Santuario della Scala Santa - The Pontifical Sanctuary of the Scala Santa in Rome, Italy, is a sacred site that houses the Holy Stairs (Scala Santa), believed to have been climbed by Jesus Christ during His Passion. Pilgrims ascend the stairs on their knees in prayer, making it an important place of devotion, penance, and spiritual reflection.
  • Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. - The Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome, Italy, is a historic church that houses important relics of the True Cross brought from Jerusalem. Built in the 4th century, it is a major pilgrimage site and an important place of devotion to the Passion of Christ.
  • Visit St. Mary Majors Basilica. - Pope Francis’s tomb is located in the Basilica of St. Mary Major (Santa Maria Maggiore) in Rome, situated in the side aisle between the Pauline Chapel and the Sforza Chapel. Following his funeral in April 2025, he was buried there, breaking a 120-year tradition of popes being interred in St. Peter's Basilica, to honor his deep devotion to the Salus Populi Romani icon.

DAY 12 / 24 SEP (Thu): ROME - AIRPORT          (B)
